  • Mu....probation

One team not at the Final Four -- and all but certain not to be next year -- is Missouri. The word in the Alamodome was that Quin Snyder's troubled program will be hit with a two-year probation, including a one-year postseason ban. Expect an announcement in May.. ...

No problem. It sort of fell quickly, with little discussion.

I don't know if I believe it yet, but if so, that's the begining of the end for Quin.
Asked what he would do differently in Iraq, Kerry said, "Right now, what I would do differently is, I mean, look, I'm not the president, and I didn't create this mess so I don't want to acknowledge a mistake that I haven't made."

At least you can admit it.

As I said before, you don't pass off a bombshell like that in a "note" ... either back it up and write a story or not. I'd take it for what it's worth.

What happens to this guy if nothing comes of the investigation? Nothing. But if something does come of it, he gets to brag that he broke the story - in a note.

                  Brutal.

I'd like to see one of these mud slingers get sued. What if based on this story, Hansborough decides not to come to Mizzou, then we find out that there is no probation? Wouldn't Mizzou have grounds to go after him? I'm getting tired of irresponsible journalists.

They sure are taking a long time.

Seems like it would be pretty cut and dry, especially if they can find those cashed checks.
