new mobo?

Its in my Vaio that many of us on here got. I don't want to mess with it. I view that PC as an add-only thing, not a replacement candidate. When you say to your neighbor, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night if that's alright with you," what you really mean is, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night."

What else are you trying to add? What is currently using up your slots?

I am trying to turn this into an HTPC. I already have one analog TV Tuner card. I have one HDTV Tuner card and I want/need another (record two programs at once.) I have an audio card and a network card. When you say to your neighbor, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night if that's alright with you," what you really mean is, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night."

I have a Radeon 9200. ATI has a great deal on X800s right now.
I'll bet the X900 is awesome. When you say to your neighbor, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night if that's alright with you," what you really mean is, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night."

You could also use a USB ethernet adapter and free the network card slot.

This is a wireless one. Its necessary to get program guides, etc. for where I plan on putting this HTPC.
But, I guess I could get a USB Wi-Fi card. Not a bad idea. When you say to your neighbor, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night if that's alright with you," what you really mean is, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night."

What about a dual tuner card, this way you get two tuners but it only takes up one slot? I have a Hauppauge card and think they make good stuff.Be passionate about what you believe in, or why bother.
