I saw that part. I'm not anti Ray by any means. I was happy as I could be to see him back in our line-up. His adrenalin must have been pumping like crazy in the first inning. Ray will win some ballgames for us.

I just don't think he's suited as a number 2.....I'd rather see edmonds or renteria in that slot. Frankly, I'm not all that opposed to switching edmonds and lankford. Lankford would get protection from Rolen....I think it would be worth trying for a few games.
Ray definitely looked better swinging the bat, but I'm not sold on him as a top of the lineup guy. I agree though that the Cards don't really have anyone else to put #2 right now.
I think Ray is the best we have for #2 right now, given our cirumstances.
