    Beane says Macha is out - they could not agree on terms for a new contract...

    Wonder who the new skipper will be in Oakland next year???

          The manager who can match St. Billy's genius simply doesn't exist. He'll have to do it himself.

            Hasn't this genius devised a formula for hiring the best manager yet? Seems to go through them fairly quickly.

                        He pretty much does do it himself. The amount of control that a manager has under Beane is very little.
