There's no excuse if Morris pitches Saturday. If it actually happens, Morris doesn't have a good game, and the Cardinals end up losing the series, he should seriously be fired.

I agree with you completely. It's hard to argue with some of his success, but he always pulls some kind of stunt in the playoffs. His reasoning today on the bottom line was that Matt has done well in the past with SD. Slaten, who I normally support and Ramsey sat there with their tail stuck completely in their vaginas and didn't challenge him at all. This from Kevin Slaten who has bitched for two weeks about the possibility of Tony starting Morris. I couldn't believe it.

With the TLR Cards, excitement about post-season always turns quickly into pulling your hair out.

What does Suppan have to do!? He's pretty consistent and was our best guy in the playoffs last year. Sheesh. Hopefully we're up 2-0 after Thursday.

If I was Suppan, I'd be looking seriously to kick some TLR ass.

Suppan had an ERA of 2.63 in 6 starts in August and a 1.93 ERA in 5 starts in September. If TLR does anything to take away a well deserved game 3 start from Suppan, that's insanity. Jeff Suppan was quite easily our best pitcher in the postseason and has obviously been our best starter in the past month.
