Why is he wearing a suit all the time now?
Anyway here are the main points from the NFL channel one:
- Cam's coming back.
- Giants played well. He said they have a heck of a chance being in contention in that division. Last night he said they'd win.
- Lots of praise for Barron. "He was outstanding in this game."
- Under pressure he hasn't had a player step up like Barron.
- Thinks the offensive line is settling in.
- Disappointed with some of the things on defense. It's not the defense on whole but one or two guys not playing like they have in the past.
- Big plays in that game that had no business happening.
- Anytime you score 5 straight posessions you have to look at a lot.
- Very significant concern on where this football team is at this point. He believes it's an anomoly.
- Didn't look at tape with players and will move on.
- He understand what they need to do from a coaching perspective.
- He knows the players who played well and didn't play well. They will make a change if they need to, but he doesn't anticipate one.
- Need to get back on track.
- We're not going to rehash what happened last week. "Good old fashion whooping."
- "Offensive line did a great job."
-
Questions:
Ever not wacthed the tape before? Yes, done it before.
Coaches going through tape? yes. You have to scrutinize every call. You have to give your players the best chance at success. I didn't do a good job offensively. We need to do a better job coaching.
He won't answer any questions about the game.
What about the runs? - We didn;t make a lot of attempts. Steven still isn't recovered. When you're down 27-10 or whatever it was you have to get something going on the clock. The injury to rolland was tragic. We had a very heavy tight end package for the game. (Fuck face, you only had two tight ends) Being behind took us out of a lot of runs. The fullback didn't know where he should be. Those things combined made me not want to run and expose the running backs.
Can Hedgecock play well? - Yes, he's smart enough to do it. He just needs to get ready to go.
Do you see yourself using Furrey as an emergency receiver? - It wasn't at that point.
Ok and that was it.
The Rams site should have the whole thing up later. I wonder if anyone asked him about "the play."
