  • A ? for any of you baseball statistics freaks

In perusing the standings today, I noticed that every team in the NL East finished at .500 or better. Has that ever happened since baseball went to its three division set-up?

I also noticed that the Cardinals are the only team in the NL with a winning road record, but that all three AL teams have winning road records and that the White Sox have the best road record in baseball. The Cards are the only team in the playoffs with a losing record in one run games.

It's never happened. The NL West has all teams at .500 or below.

      That's never happened either.

Edit - The AL West were all under .500 in 1994, the strike year.
But wait. There is something that can be done afterall. My good friend Angelo is a cop in the Tampa/Clearwater area. Since I kept all of the files from the access logs when I had the power to see them, guess what, I have everyone's IP addresses. Hmm..what can I do w/ those??

I thought the Padres finished at 2 games above .500. (not that that's anything to brag about)
