    I guess he's retiring. No mention of being forced out.

    they'll probably win it all again next year with a new manager. then suck the next few years after that.

    Then get a new manager, a small fire sale and win it all again.

    All while the owner focuses on the Dolphins.

        You are right - I forgot about Loria.

        I stand corrected. But my main point remains - won't be surprised to see Marlins win another WS down the road.

          Question: would you rather the Cardinals be consistently good for 10 years and never win it all or win 2 World Series in 10 years and be very mediocre or bad the other years?
