  • NHL Preseason Fight Card and Statistics (through 10/1/05)

    FIGHT CARD - 10/1/05:
Orr (Bos/LHW/1-1-1) dec. vs. Rullier (NYR/LHW/0-1) - They dropped 'em with Orr going to town on Rullier with a bunch of rights that dropped Rullier to the ice.

McGrattan (Ott/HW/2-0-3) dec. vs. Ivanans (Mon/HW/0-1-2) - They went off the faceoff with McGrattan doing the damage, cutting Ivanans up pretty bad.

Kavanagh (Phi/LHW/0-0-1) draw vs. Sutherby (Was/LHW/0-0-1) - Not much of a fight.

Gratton (Phi/LHW/1-0-1) draw vs. Peat (Was/HW/0-0-1) - A good fight as Gratton got more shots in, but Peat landed the better ones. Gratton ended up losing his balance and falling to the ice.

Eager (Phi/LHW/0-0-1) draw vs. Bradley (Was/MW/0-0-1) - A nothing fight.

McAllister (Pho/HW/0-0-2) draw vs. Brennan (Ana/HW/No FM) - McAllister got an instigator minor, fighting major, and misconduct whne a fight really didn't occur. A good cop out by Brennan, who received only a high sticking minor.

Semenov (Edm/HW/0-0-1) draw vs. Brookbank (Van/HW/1-1-1) - After Brookbank put a big hit on Smyth, Smyth went after Brookbank and a scrum ensued. Semenov started throwing punches on Brookbank while he was tied up. Brookbank tried to avoid a scrap and get free, but ended up exchanging some weak rights with Semenov before the refs came in.

When you say to your neighbor, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night if that's alright with you," what you really mean is, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night."
