Making a Website

I have a web question for any loungers who have their own websites. I want to create a webpage for all of the guys in my Fantasy Football League. I purchased a domain name from godaddy.com, where do I go next? I have created and maintained webpages before, but they were always sites that I inherited from others. So I've never been in it from the ground up. If you have any suggestions on where I should go to get info please let me know. I have ftp uploading software already. I guess, if I understand things right, what I need is a webhosting company, is that correct? Any help anyone could give me would be great. Thanks.
