        That's quite a bit of dough for a guy like him.

        But cool...that means Wood is likely a starter again...and will breakdown again.

          The plan all along was to return Wood to the rotation after his most recent surgery.

          Major league teams don't pay relievers 12 million dollars a year. Although the Cubs are quite close to not being major. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif[/img]

            They were dumb for giving such a brittle guy so much cash and dumber still for leaving a guy who can't get thru 200 innings a year in the rotation even if he is making #1 starter money.

            It's great for us though!

              Yeah, i about fell about of my chair when i saw that. Thats way too much money to commit to a guy who hasn't proved alot after one season coming off injuries.
