Andruw Jones is going to win the MVP
And, frankly, it has never occured to me that "winning" a debate is important, or that I should be hurt when someone like Airshark or kah, among others (for whom winning a pseudo debate or declaring intellectual superiority over invisible others is obviously very important) ridicule me.

I'm afraid he will, which will just expose the stupidity of the majority of the voters.

What do you think about it?

I want to win the World Series.

I don't get worked up over individual awards.

FTR...I don't really care about the individual awards either vs getting a WS trophy

                    But, still fun to debate

It will be a shame though if Albert doesn't get it this year. He deserves the MVP.

                          Ooops, forgot AL MVP

                          1) David Ortiz
                          2) Mariano Rivera
                          3) Alex Rodriguez

I know the knock against Ortiz is that he's a DH, but if you watched him for 160 games this season, you see how his importance goes so ar beyond his actual at bats. The entire team feeds off of his energy, and I know a lot of people don't believe n clutch hitting, including me, but watching Papi this year will at least make you rethink that position, if not change it.

I don't even think ARod is the Yankees MVP. Without Rivera to stabilize the bullpen, they're dead in the water. A league average 3rd basemen instead of ARod, and that lineup is still potent. And if I hear one more time about his "Gold Glove" defense, I'm gonna puke. According to every defensive metric that's worth a spit, he's not even good, he's flat out awful. He's dead last in the AL in RF, second to last in ZR, and his FRAA is -9. Putrid.
