• Phillies 1 game back now

They're sputtering to the finish now.

Perhaps we might face the Phillies after all.

    I don't like it.

      Huh?

Would you rather face the Phillies?

      Or the Padres?

The answer is unanimous among Cardinals fans.

Do you have a different opinion?

There are pros and cons to both.

Assuming we get past San Diego, do you really want to face Clemens, Oswalt, and Pettitte six of 7 games?

But if theyre not in the post season, do you want to face Philadelphia, a team that has had our number the last two years?

              I truly don't have a preference.

But you, being the septic, never have anything good to say about the cardinals and never pick them to do anything but fail. so it shouldnt matter to you, either.

The tool we have behind the plate tonight is giving CB a run for his money.

                  Touchy, touchy, Hank.

                  Easy there, fella.

                  I'll ask the question again.

Try to put aside your ignore function, your personal biases, and your embarrassment about all the times I've posted you into a corner....

Would you rather face the Padres or the Phillies?

It's a fairly straightforward question, champ.

I am aware of that but he always blows calls that what gets to me. All I ask is that he make the right calls regardless of which teams those calls benefit, just some consistency, something CB has none of.

I was sure they'd be getting pumped for their World Series showdown with Oakland...
