    IMO, they have no obligation to "respect" baseball and play these games competitively.

      I still think there's gonna be a tie for both the AL East and AL Wild Card.

                Not likely.

                Assuming there's a 50/50 shot of each team winning their perspective games, there are 16 possible final standings outcomes...and only one leads to what you're suggesting.

                    I just think Cleveland will win 2 of 3 and the Red Sox will win 2 of 3.
