  • Bernie's show set to roll out Monday; here's his line-up

    QUOTE
Ready to roll it out... show starts Monday at 8 a.m.
Goes each weekday morning from 8-11 a.m.

I want insider information -- heavy emphasis on news, analysis, and what's going on behind the scenes. (Believe me, we'll have plenty of fun things on the show, but the foundation is sports, and informed sports. When we stray, it will be for a brief time).

    Anyway...

Here's our cast or regular insiders -- each person will be heard (in most cases) twice a week, or more, on the show.

    BASEBALL:
Joe Strauss, Cardinals beatwriter, STL Post-Dispatch (2-3 per week).
Joe Sheehan, Baseball Prospectus and ESPN News (1 per week)

    FOOTBALL:
    Howard Balzer (2-3 per week)
Jim Thomas, Rams beatwriter, Post-Dispatch (2-3 per week, plus pregame and postgame).
Mark Schlereth, ESPN (1 per week)

    HOCKEY
Bernie Federko (2-3 times per week)
    Joe Micheletti (1 per week)
    Andy Strickland (all the time).

    MIZZOU and colleges
One regular each week, Gabe DeArmond, of powermizzou.com (and son of Mike DeArmond of the KC Star). We will book other college-sports guests as the dictated by the situation.

    Hope you like it...

Obviously as we go along, we'll be adjusting...

    Where is the SLU coverage?

I will have to call in and talk about the losing season for the soccer team and lack of movement on the construction of the arena.

Line-up? I thought it'd look more like this

No president wants war. Everything you may have heard is that, but it's just simply not true

Will Bernie be able to be heard over his munching of mass quanities of food on the air???

                          I agree with Davhaf.....Kaiser March 9,2004

Mick Jagger is in better shape than far too many NBA players. It's up in the air whether the same can be said of Keith Richards.
