The effect of not having Wagner is being felt already. Last year I really think Lidge or even Dotel would've been pitching to Barry by that time and not Oswalt. That three-headed monster that created 6 or 7-inning games is gone.

All due credit to Bonds though, he's probably the only guy in MLB who could turn that hard on that pitch.

      Jimy went against his nature.
When you say to your neighbor, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night if that's alright with you," what you really mean is, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night."

ASTROS=OVERRATED. I've been saying that all along, and I will continue to say that until the end of the year when they fail to reach the playoffs.

Quite an end. Giants scored in the 9th w/out a hit--hit batsman, sacrifice, wild pitch to send runner to 3rd, sacrifice fly.

That's right, the very first game determines the entire season.

Then by your standard, the Cubs will have the division wrapped up by June 17th.

It wasn't even a save situation. It was a tie game.

They are "rated" as a second place team.

You saying they are 3rd best in this division?
