    FYI, from the Cardinals...

ST. LOUIS – Sept. 28, 2005– As the final weekend of the Cardinals’ 2005 regular season approaches – and anticipation builds for the postseason – the club is also excited to celebrate with St. Louis as Busch Stadium plays host to its final regular season games ever, this Friday through Sunday, Sept. 30 – Oct. 2, vs. the Cincinnati Reds.
Busch Stadium, as well as the downtown area, will be a flurry of activity all weekend – and the Cardinals want their fans to be ready for three days of festivities … and to prepare accordingly. The schedule of activities includes:

6:30 p.m.: Opening ceremonies to include a celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the 1985 National League Champions.
    7:10 p.m.: First pitch.
Giveaway: DVD of Top 10 Moments in Busch Stadium history, courtesy of MasterCard.

    Saturday, October 1:
    1:15 p.m.: All Gates Open.
2:30 p.m.: Opening ceremonies include the introduction of the All-Busch Stadium team, as chosen by the fans.
    3:15 p.m.: First pitch.

    Sunday, October 2:
    11:15 a.m.: All Gates Open.
12:45 p.m.: Final Regular Season Game pre-game ceremonies.
    1:15 p.m.: First pitch.
Post-Game: Ceremonies commence within five minutes of the final out and will include an introduction of more than 100 players and coaches who have worn the Cardinals uniform in Busch Stadium, concluding with an appearance by the Budweiser Clydesdales – their first visit to Busch Stadium in 10 years.
Giveaway: Official Final Game certificate (all fans) and Anheuser-Busch poster (ages 21 and up).
Special items to purchase: Commemorative scorecard, Busch Stadium commemorative yearbook, lanyard with final game logo, shirts, frame for Final Game certificate.

P.S. Stan didn't play at this stadium. I gotta feeling he'll be there anyway.

Biggest disappointment: No Joaquin. Doesn't he know we love him?
