The old refrain of "There's no such thing as a stupid question" is, well....stupid.

For instance, the question asked of the Redskins' Doug Williams prior to the Superbowl: How long have you been a black quarterback? [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img]
Or the question I once asked a woman, "Congratulations. When is the big day?" -- referring to a pregnancy that did not exist.
