    Everbody Hates Chris

    Did anyone watch the new Chris Rock show on UPN? I watched it on Google video yesterday. It was quite funny and I believe one of the highest rated UPN shows ever (2nd place to Survivior), if not the highest.

    At one point in the show a white bully at his school calls the Chris character a nigger. Was that in the over the air version? I watch very few over the air sitcoms so I'm not sure what is acceptable.

          Yes it was. I about fell off the couch when the kid dropped the N-bomb Chris' character. I'm curious as too how much backlash the UPN took from the African-American community for that bit.

          Dear God, KBF here. I'd just like to say thanks, once again, for allowing Dusty Baker and I to live during the same time period. Every time I think he's given me his last gift -- overpitching Prior in the playoffs, getting cocky in Game 6 vs. the Angels, blowing another game for the Cubs -- he does something stupid like pitching to Albert Pujols.             Maybe not much. It was portrayed realistically as I'm certain many have had the word hurled at them in that sort of situation. Guess I'm surprised that UPN would even give it a shot

                    Archie Bunker said it a few times. It was very funny dialouge.

                    When rappers stop saying it, then folks will have a right to get upset.
