  • Matty Mo - Our 'Stopper'

    What a bad joke.

This guy has the talent of Lefty and the focus and stones of Mellow Yellow.

Just get him through 5, hope for a lead, and bring on our middle relief. TLR and the Drunk need to come to terms with the cards they have to play and THEN play them.

    Matty's a modern Larry Jackson.

Sloppy location in the strike zone and is still for the most part a two pitch pitcher...

Might have been a good time to debut King against the lefty Posednik..but Morris was batting second in the next inning and we know how Larussa is about stretching pitchers more than they should be when they're coming up to hit in the next atbat..

History repeats itself..and its only opening day.

This is why I wanted him traded in the offseason when we could at least get SOMETHING for him.

Which team is going to take a guy who won 11-games last season and is making 12-million dollars...?

                Bullshit.

I said it the entire winter. And you know I did.

Maybe I should have clarified the fact that I was referring to The Dunc.

Another pathetic attempt at humor met by the humorless.

                  My bad....as they say.

Problem with Matt is that he gets too emotional.

Darryl Kile was good at getting him to stay calm etc.

Matt is going to have to learn to rein in these emotions and he should have by now.

Its gonna be a long season if he does not get in control.

Matty Mo was missing high, early and often - a sign of being too pumped up.

                      Swell.

Shouldn't he be over this kind of 'performance' by now?

he'll be better. Don't forget, we have Cedeno, he can probably pitch.

I think Morris believes he can blow hitter away with his fastball. He can't do it anymore. He used to hit 95 mph. He no longer gets close to that. He better learn a third pitch or his career may be on the downslope.
