Alot of applause. Would have sworn I heard some boos.
If you believe in something sacrifice a hobo to it or don't bother.

So you are also saying that he didn't throw an 120 MPH fastball?

It was a strike. Pretty good pitch, all things considered.

CBS Sportline shows Milwaukee as having a 10-man bench.

Carrying seven pitchers -- now THAT'S gutsy.

I'm glad I didn't have to stand in this line:

I'm working at home with the flu. Here's the skinny--

Definitely some boos. More cheers though.

Buck did a decent job with the interview. The questions seemed scripted but W still needed some encouragement getting through and Joe nodded him right along.

Very impressive pitch, given the circumstances. I'd have pulled an Ankiel.

The best part was seeing several Secret Service guys coming out in Cardinal's jackets.

One out into the top of the first and I'm already looking for my am radio sick of the Hungarian. The guy sounds dumber than last year, if that's possible.

                    Maybe they'll take LaRussa away.
And, frankly, it has never occured to me that "winning" a debate is important, or that I should be hurt when someone like Airshark or kah, among others (for whom winning a pseudo debate or declaring intellectual superiority over invisible others is obviously very important) ridicule me.

Disagree. I thought the reaction was overwhelmingly positive.

Seriously. When I listened on Fox Sports it sounded overwhlemingly positive. I was quite surprised it was that positive. I expected a mixed reaction.

In fact, the first thing I thought when I heard it was that the support for the President isn't as bad as some people think.
