    Last week's ranks with records and this weeks results:

    1] USC (9) 90, 3-0, beat Oregon 45-13
    2] Texas 81, 3-0, was idle
    3] LSU 65, 1-0, vs Tennessee, ppd.
    4] Virginia Tech 60, 4-0, beat Georgia Tech 51-7
    5] Florida 53, 4-0, beat Kentucky 49-28
    6] Georgia 44, 4-0, beat Mississippi St. 23-10
    7] Ohio State 36, 3-1, beat Iowa 31-6
    8] Florida St. 23, 3-0, was idle
    9] California 11, 4-0, beat New Mexico State 41-13
    10] Louisville 10, 2-1, lost to South Florida 45-14

    Others receiving votes: Arizona State 7; Purdue 6; Georgia Tech 3; Michigan State 2; Notre Dame 2; Minnesota 1; Tennessee 1

    Deadline for votes is Tuesday at Noon CDT. I may be a post whore and update on occasion.

    NOTE: DO NOT consider the LSU/TEN game in this week's rankings. We're going to consider it a game that is played next week (meaning LSU will play two games in the next week).

      A big, HAHA goes out to Louisville.

      The Buckeyes were very, very impressive...

        I think all the major ranking are coming out normally so I figure we'll do what they do (despite us obviously being better than they are [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img] )

                  Texas Tech? You've got to be kidding. They've beaten Florida International, Sam Houston State, and Indiana State, all at home. IMO, that proves only that they can beat the crap out of D1AA oponents.

                          OK. I just find it difficult to fairly rate them, when they've only played one game. I think they're top five material, but in the wake of all of the distractions around them, I want to get a better read of them on the field of play.
