  • Vick vs. Roethlisberger

    Just wondering.

Vick projected for 9 pts vs. Buffalo
Big Ben projected for 10 pt vs. New England.

Big Ben is nursing a bad back. One bit hit early could end his afternoon. If it was me, I'd start Vick.

But let me say this too, I didn't NOT stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, so I'm no expert.

I think I'm gonna start Vick. I've started him every game so far and the rest of my team has pretty much done the dirty work for me.

i just caught the tail end of the ESPN football show and it sounded like those guys were talking about Vick having some sort of injury also. Something that could keep him from being as mobile as he is.

Now I'm back thinking about Ben...especially if the Pat's secondary is a bit depleted.

                    QB Ben Roethlisberger (P)

In two meetings with New England his rookie season, Roethlisberger put up about 200 yards and a pair of TDs in each. This year is looking even better for Big Ben. He's spreading the ball around and has yet to throw an interception. The Pats' defense is not living up to last year's version, but it is no TEN or HOU, the Steelers last two opponents. They are still injury depleted in the secondary but should be able to muster enough to keep the Steeler QB on many fantasy benches this week.

                    QB Michael Vick (Q)

Even before Vick was questionable for this game he was a bench candidate. Now with a strained hammy there's no way he should be in your lineup facing the #1 pass defense in the league through two weeks. Don't expect to hear Vick's status until Sunday.

Vick so far has 2 passing TDs, 1 INT, 167 yds passing, 64 yds rushing.

                        I played Big Ben.
