Here's a column I wrote this week (NASCAR Needs to Ice Down Hot Tempers)...I'm not posting this for your praise and admiration and debate or to be an attention whore...I'm posting it so you can use it as a reference to possibly the funniest piece of hate mail I've ever received...

Speaking of Sebeck, I talked to McKernan a while ago and I'm going to post an article on his site...I'm covering the NASCAR races at Kansas City for PRN Radio and I'm going to write a piece on the various forms of NASCAR fan...should be interesting...

It seems to me that you need to be spanked for writing mean stuff about Robby.

Actually, the hate mail is much better because the mail that agrees with me is only because they're fans of whomever I wrote positively about and they're trying to kiss my ass...I love NASCAR hate mail...

They would almost completely cut out the "get even with 'em" actions of idiot drivers if they'd just sit a guy for a weekend. Better yet, don't just sit the driver, sit the whole team so they lose all the points and money normally acrued during a weekend's race.

I just hope it will be Stewart or R Gordon that get the hammer first though.

There's kind of an inside joke to it...I did the updates in my "Ted Knight" voice...Think of him saying "Mary..." from the Mary Tyler Moore Show or (my favorite) "Monroe!" from Too Close For Comfort...Needless to say, that's not my real broadcast voice...but the boss liked it, so I will get to be an air whore more often...
