  • My Name is Earl

    I liked it.

It had a "Raising Arizona" feel to it.

And a nice heartfelt ending, after all the intentionally politically incorrect stuff.

Jason Lee is the kind of actor who should be able to pull this off.

No film throws a bigger bouqet to cinematography than "Almost Famous."

How many films capture a mood like that one does?

If half the time they didn't put out schlock along with everyone else, the auteurs of film should be totally ashamed of what shows up usually at the megaplex.

During my film class at the U High, I'd always get dinged for putting in "movie." Never understood it then, but understand it totally now.

Thought that it was OK. Some of the things on his list may not fit into a neat 22 minute segment. But at least NBC is trying.

The scene where he found out the dude was gay was absolutely priceless. "I suppose the runnin' wasn't necessary."
