  • Cubs Fans Dig and Scrape For Evidence

Gotta have something to occupy their time in September.

If you read a few pages in, you won't believe the shit some of them drum up to prove their beloved Derrick Lee is the true MVP.

    HILARIOUS.

That "Goldilocks" post is interesting; it's pretty much what I see happening. Cubs stink, Cardinals too good, Jones has lots of HRs and was in a tighter race. Blech.
The noise was good, but I thought they phoned in a lot of the funk.

If you didn't get you team to the playoffs, or DAMN close, how much Value did you provide?

if people don't think it's Pujols then they are stupid as always.

I thought he deserved it over barry the suck for so long as well. this shouldn't be a big leap for those who know me today.

Hahaha I love that Andruw is now the co-leader with Pujols.

I mean, HR's are nice, but let's be serious.

          Jones .272/.357/.593
          Pujols .331/.424/.612
          Lee .346/.428/.681

Lee leads both in EVERY CATEGORY.
          [/b][/quote]

          QUOTE
The way I look at it......

Both the Braves and the Cardinals would likely be there without Jones and Pujols.......... the Cubs would have finished in AAA this year without D Lee.

Sosa helped lead his team to the playoffs that year, Mac (not for lack of trying) did not.

Yet another reason Lee should not win.
