• Students read news/predictions from 1990 students

Sophomores get look at predictions made by their counterparts in 1990

QUOTE
Pattonville High School students in 1990 predicted a world in 2005 where everything would run on solar energy. A world at peace.
Dumb asses.

QUOTE
"It feels weird," Mingtoi said, to read about life back then - the earthquake in San Francisco, the spill of oil from the Exxon Valdez in Prince William Sound in Alaska, the fall of the Berlin Wall and the push to ban explicit rap lyrics. "I would never have thought of this happening when I was born."
"Historians will judge if this war is just, not your punk ass." -- Dave Glover, December 8, 2004

QUOTE
After hearing one former student's name, Schulte picked up a phone. Within minutes, the letter writer, Steve Bray, 31, walked into the room. Bray is now a coach at Pattonville High School. "Wow," he said, after rereading what he helped write 15 years ago. "I didn't even remember this assignment."

I fucking hated high school. H-a-t-e-d it.
On my mind: How can I shut up the singing English graduate student? How many more lossess will KU's basketball team have than its football team? How will the Rams front office screw up this year?

Hey - that's my high school!

We never had to do stuff like that back in the early to mid 80's, tho.

I know I did something like that in jr high, but never in high school.

You know the kind of disgusting crud that makes you gag when you have to scrape it off your shoe? That's the kind of low-life scum that I remember going to high school with. No fucking way do I ever want to see those "people" again - and if I did, there's a limit to prison visiting hours.

That's how I feel.

I wasn't picked on or anything like that. My high school was so political and had more cliques than I can count.

Yeah. It's much better now that people on an internet forum make fun of you.

We did something like that in my school. A time capsule kind of thing.

I couldn't think of anything interesting to put in mine, so I took a huge dump in it and sealed it up. Wonder if the PD will be doing a story on that one?
