STL Sports offers a candid look on the local and national sport scenes.
In the latest week of InsideSTL unveilings...we bring to you STL Sports.

The release of 'STL Sports' couldn't have come at a better time for both InsideSTL and the city of St. Louis, as a whole. Although competively excellent in virtually every major athletic market over the past 5 years...the St. Louis sports scene and it's coverage has become somewhat unexcellent and tiredsome.

Sometimes it's not fair to point a finger at the general sports media as the ultimate demise of interesting reporting...sometimes the material just isn't there. The Cardinals have had the Central Division locked up since the All-Star break. The Rams head coach won't talk. No basketball. And hockey, well, we all know the routine.

Other times, it is their fault (see Rene Knott or John Hadley for additional monotonous and ridiculously dry information). Boring. Uninteresting. Same 'ole same 'ole.

We'd like to introduce you to a new brand of reporting.

STL Sports...and honest, humorous, and open look at the local and national sports scene. For some readers, our material will click...and you'll find yourself saying, "I was thinking that exact same thing". However, I'm willing to bet some of you will find the content and format a bit edgy at first. No problem. Take out that "Best Baseball Fans in the Nation" rally towel, wipe the sweat off your brow, and give us an honest read. My guess is you'll appreciate the honesty and alternative look that we'll provide to the St. Louis sports media.

Reading "unexcellent" sentences like that gets "tiredsome."
      I'm always right.

I think he means at. That would be the proper preposition to use there.

It's a timely idea, but like all things 'media' related in this town (outside of Kilkoyne), they arre pussy cats when it's go-time...

                        This begs the question...

Who the fuck is Matt Sebek?
You're being fucking dramatic. You own a TV and an air mattress. That's not exactly what I'd call "a lot to lose."
