    2.18 ERA

    I wonder what the starting five will look like.

    I hope if Marquis continues to look like this, La Russa bumps him up in the rotation and sets his ego to the side and admits Carpenter would be better suited in the five slot.

      Honestly, shouldn't Carpenter be in the 5 spot anyway considering it's the least demanding spot in the rotation and he's had soooo much shoulder trouble? I honestly would have liked to see him be a bullpen guy and throw Haren in the rotation but that's just me.

          I wouldn't kick myself yet, Yaks.

          He needs to prove something to me first, anyway.

          No matter what, the rotation and staff is better than the last two years. At least there is some inclination of who will be pitching from day to day.

          Its not much, but its something.
          When you say to your neighbor, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night if that's alright with you," what you really mean is, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night."
