With apologies to a particular poet, we've traveled this road before, so it surely isn't the road less taken. But, let's have some political fun, while still talking politics.
Ever since Kennedy merged with Sinatra, not to mention Marilyn, show business and politics have been willing bedroom participants. Bill Clinton apparently felt restricted and sought to extend these well-laid boundaries, thus incorporating the Oval Office into the mix. But despite scandals and heresay, the marriage of politics and celebrity remain. From Streisand to Schwarzenegger, Eastwood to Sonny Bono, the two invariably have been linked.
So, with this in mind, what celebrity would you love to see as President of the United States, who would be his/her First Lady (or First Man), and who would handle the, ahem, duties as the Vice President?
Feel free to explain your selections or not...it's all about having a good time and laughing at others (and our own) choices of Head Mucketty Muck, Numeral Uno Babe, and Second Banana.
My initial picks:
Head of State: Jack Nicholson (do you really need to ask why?)
First Lady: Leah Remini (young, sassy and hot...just how Jack likes 'em.)
Vice President: Robert DeNiro (can't you just envision him in some high-level cabinet or foreign policy meeting..."You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me!!?)
