Fans get nod from Baker

Chicago Cubs manager Dusty Baker lauded Busch Stadium for its fans before Monday's game, saying: "They're very knowledgeable here. Willie McGee used to talk about how he loved it here. Shawon Dunston and everybody I know that played here loved it here. All the time I've been coming here, I think I've only seen them boo one guy - and that was Tino Martinez."

I have come to the conclusion that the Cardinals are playing so badly against the Cubs this year to keep Dusty in Chicago. The stupid Cubs ownership will think the Cubs have potential when they see they have a winning record against the best team in baseball and give him a lifetime appointment. Hey presto, a 100% guarantee the Cubs will be terrible forever.
