Someone on the telecommuting forum that I've joined suggested that I sign up on this site and swears she made $2300 doing this last month and has been doing it for a year now. I honestly don't understand how it works and how you make money off of it. I can't believe that someone would pay you to watch ads and surf around on the internet. Has anyone else ever heard of this and is it legit?

The more important question for me... What the hell is a telecommuting forum?
      Of course you do.

The way I read it you start with $10 in your account and you can earn 1% of your account balance each day. If that is the case you would earn $374.09 after one year. That is if you spend the required time looking at their ads every day for the year.

If you take the $374 out of your account you are back down to nothing and it will take another year (of doing this every single day) to get another $374.

It also says you must spend 20 seconds per site. It does not say how many sites you must view to get your 1% for that day.

It doesn't sound like it is worth the headache.

It's a message board sort of like this one whose members either work from home or, as in my case, want to work from home. It has different sections for different "career" areas and job postings and such.

I certainly hope so. I've been looking into doing something from home for a while now and not having a whole lot of luck. Now that gas prices are so high, I'm not going to be able to afford to drive to work pretty soon.

Lois ... it looks like a ponzi scheme.

Here is a Google Answers article on it and here is a Google search for other opinions.

You may be interested in seeing what their website looked like since they started.

Also, remember that if someone refers you they get $10.00. That's enough to make people spam for it. :-)

It could very well be legit, so I don't want to dampen your enthusiasm, but you know what they say about things that sound too good to be true.

All of the "work from home stuffing envelop" jobs are scams. If you want a good job working from home, you need to either get hired by a big corporation that allows employees to work from home (such as IBM) or have a skill that is so hot that they will be allow you to work from home.

I work from home. My company isn't wild about it, but most of the big bosses do it, so several of us do it. I have approval from my manager, but not from the corporate headquarters (but they haven't said I couldn't either). I earned the trust of my boss by showing that my results from home are better than they are at the office. I'm a mainframe programmer for CSC.

                      Good luck Lois.

                        Might save me...money, yeah.
