  • Anyone Have XP Media Center Edition?

Do you use any of the MCE features?

Buggy? Do they work? Do you like it?

    Any thoughts? =]

We have it at our house. It's pretty sweet. I'm not sure what features you're talking about, though.

I'm heading out right now, so I can't delve in too deeply, but if you're willing to invest the time to learn it all, it's a pretty good program.

My son has it on his laptop and loves it. Basically uses it as a TV and video recorder. I think the option ran an additional $200 when we ordered it.

Basically I'm interested in the PVR functions.

How's the interface? How does it compare to TiVo? (The interface, that is.)

Is this any more (or less) buggy than regular ole WinXP?

Can you use the remote control to control any other devices? Such as other a/v equipment, or can you use it to control other aspects of the computer?
