  • September callups-- what's the word?

Sorry for polluting the Katrina Forum with baseball talk, but has anybody heard anything with respect to September callups?

Google didn't help and I don't have access to a smart person.

I'd imagine Reyes and Johnson are getting the call, just wondering if anybody in STL has heard anything on the radio/TV about this.

    Kthx.

Didn't they say somewhere that they probably wouldn't call people up until after Memphis' season was over?

I hope they wait until after Memphis' season is over. I was hoping to see Reyes this weekend.

Dear God, KBF here. I'd just like to say thanks, once again, for allowing Dusty Baker and I to live during the same time period. Every time I think he's given me his last gift -- overpitching Prior in the playoffs, getting cocky in Game 6 vs. the Angels, blowing another game for the Cubs -- he does something stupid like pitching to Albert Pujols. Thy will be done, baby!!!!!

It is inappropriate to use NO to avoid facing up to whether Rick Ankiel should and will be called up.

If the 'utility' guys are not Hart & Gall, God help us. From what I saw down there a couple of weeks ago, other than the pitching, there's not much of anything else.
