  • Need virus help

My computer has a virus. Free virus protection only goes as far as the scan, then you have to pay for the protection and removal devices. Are there any services available that are 100% free? Any help would be apreciated.

GW is pissing me off today technically. They disconnect me a lot when I am trying to FTP... So have Norton Anti-Virus for FREE on them:

(I know it is an executable and you are probably virus paranoid at the moment, but it is alright)

          AVG VirusScan

I loaded it on someone's laptop the other day - it's pretty slick (especially when you consider the price).
If you believe in something sacrifice a hobo to it or don't bother.

I used to use AVG but now I use Avast.

The only thing I don't like about Avast is that you either can't or else I don't know how to schedule automatic scans and sometimes I go a week or so without scanning.

Other than that I really like it. My kids like it when it does turn up a virus (usually in my junk mail box) because of the sound the computer makes.
