The Bills at number 5??? I know they have a good defense, but their QB options are Losman and Holcombe. What gives?

I say this realizing the Rams defense is still a work in progress and there is definitely a reason to be concerned about it. But how in the hell can you tell me that this Rams team (virtually the same one offensively, but with a better RB now starting) is the 19th best team in the NFL? The offense ALONE is worth them being in the top 10! How can people be missing how good Steven Jackson is?

I just hope Rams players are looking at this years pre-season rankings by various publications like this because from what I've seen, they're getting very little respect and in some cases like this, no respect at all. Damn.

And you're right, Joker, Loseman hasn't shown me a thing. I watched the pre-season game between the Bills and Bears last week, and went away with the feeling that neither team will be scoring many points this season. Both the Bills and Bears have decent running games, but the QB has to be able to keep defenses honest. I don't see either of those teams passing well enough to prevent any team from stacking the line against them.

I don't know that the Rams are one of the 10 best teams in the NFL but there's no question, to me at least, that they're one of the six best teams in the NFC.

The Bills went 9-3 last season after their miserable first month and probably did it in spite of Bledsoe. Losman doesn't have to set the world on fire. All he has to do is limit his mistakes and he'll be better than what Bledsoe was last season.

I tend to agree that Buffalo will probably win somewhere between seven and nine games. I'm just saying that, as unproven as Losman is, it isn't hard to imagine him being an upgrade over what Bledsoe was last season and they won nine of the last 12 with Bledsoe.

Yeah, and Bledsoe was simply horrible last year. I still don't get why Parcells is thinking he's going anywhere with him this season in Dallas. He looked old and sometimes overwhelmed last season.
