  • Looting

So what does everyone think about the looters?

If you lived there, had kids, and had no food or water and the stores were all closed?

Obviously I am not talking about stealing TVs.

    But what would you do?

If you thought it was just going to be a day or two, and then it turns out that it's going to be MONTHS, don't you have to go ahead and enter that store down the street and take food and water?

Dude. There needs to be an option for when the water hits your waist, you can take whatever you want.

Why is there no option for taking tvs? I'd take everything I could back up the truck and load it up. I wouldn't steal from a mom n pop store but fuck corporations. Their whole business plan is to rip off the consumer. Time for payback when there are natural disasters or riots. I might not loot wal-mart but only cause all their products are shit. Everything else is fair game.

You have to do it. Especially if your families well being is endangered. However, I just dont think that in this day and age that would be a likely scenario. Being trapped for months or even days at a time I mean. At least in a situation where you can make it a few blocks to the store you were looting, but not to be able to hike to a shelter or red cross tent.

              I could be wrong though.

In cases like this, the stores should be opened up and whatever foodstuffs and other necessities should be distributed as best they can. I'm sure the people stuck in the Dome right now would appreciate some snacks, toiletries, and such. Sitting there in the dampness, even canned goods won't be good for long. Get the stuff to the people who can use it.

You have to figure that some people are in a complete state of panic right now and will do whatever they can to sustain themselves and their families. Looting for survival is perfectly fine.

These people that are stealing TV's, jewelry, and things like that are definitely in the wrong. As punishment, they should be made to clean the bathrooms in the Dome once they get everyone out of there.
