    Blues ownership news.

    I have it in good faith that the next Blues ownership group will be based in St. Louis.

    From what I'm told, last week a locally based potential ownership group put forth a "very legitamate proposal" to Paige Sports Mgmt.

    At the same time, another local ownership group was "meeting" with "no fewer than 5 billionaires" about a separate ownership venture, with the intent on placing an more lucatrive bid this week.

    From what I'm told, there will be a deal in place for a new ownership team before the season begins....and Laurie & co are only considering bid from these two groups and a third local competetor who doesn't have quite the resources of the first two groups.

              No, he was grilling with Pleau last night while getting bombed on Chianti. LP was trying to pawn Mayers off on the Pens for Crosby. Zez fucked up the deal when he grabbed the phone and called Lemieux a cocksucker.
