Marquis seems to get semi screwed on his pitching matchups, and on who is in the field for him.

Jim Hayes was talking on KFNS this morning about how Pujols walked over the top of the pitching mound almost bumping the pitcher and staring him down after So was hit yesterday. Trouble brewing??

The altercation apparently happened - it was just reported on KRMS (Kansas City affiliate, also has ESPNradio sometimes). Duncan and one of the Pirates coaches were mentioned as being involved, unnamed players as well. They also mentioned police were brought in to control it.

Don't shoot the messenger, it was just a quick update and there aren't many details yet. But something DID happen.

Surely the Pirates know that the Cardinals would not allow Carpenter to get suspended by throwing at people..

                          Just saw it on FSN.

Looked like Duncan and McClendon were jawing and one of McClendon's assistant coaches (a dark fella) came up and punched Dunc in the face. Everyone started a scrum.

TLR was being interviewed by the Cat, saw what was happening, and jumped out of his chair to get in the middle of it.
