There are a lot of proud mothers out there after this announcement. Can't wait to listen to Bradshaw explain his rankings. Is Bill Yeoman still alive?

I wonder if he'll give preferential treatment to those teams that play a matchup zone.

Kim Bokamper, Earle Bruce, and Jim Grabowski?

I wondered what happened to those guys when they left football a million years ago.

                BCS needs to go NOW
Given the fact that 1-A football has been around for over a hundred years, is extremely popular and highly profitable, and has never had a playoff system, the BCS doesn't "need" to go at all.

I wish we had a playoff system but there's too much money in the current setup

It won't happen for a long time until then...the BCS is probably better than what we had before there was one

The BCS is a joke. Witness that Nebraska, coming off a 62-36 loss to Colorado, played for the national championship in '02. In '03, Okalahoma played for the championship after K-State bitch slapped them 35-7. Last year, Auburn was left out, when it was pretty obvious they were among the top 2. Instead, Oklahoma got beaten by 40 points-again.

The problem there is that almost everyone thought Auburn should have played Oklahoma. USC was thought to be the team that shouldn't be there.
