              Spare me the sarcastic comments.

You're being fucking dramatic. You own a TV and an air mattress. That's not exactly what I'd call "a lot to lose."

Should have been done two months ago.
When you say to your neighbor, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night if that's alright with you," what you really mean is, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night."

What puzzles me is that Dr. George Paletta, will perform the operation, assisted br Dr. Timothy Kremchek. WHY?

Didn't he do a subpar operation the 1st time, or is it TLR's fault for rushing Rolen back?

According to the copy, Paletta is still listed as The Cardinals' team physician...

Note to author, do your homework. No mention of new Cardinals team physician, Dr. Rick Wright.

Honestly, with the way Nunez has been playing, this is not as damaging as it would have been. It would just be nice for Rolen to ONCE be healthy during the playoffs. Just once. At least this is no longer a distraction.

So, down the stretch, the goals are as such:
                      -Get Walker going again.

                      -Get Reggie healthy.

                      -Get Grudz healthy.

                      -Don't overwork the starters.

-Find out who, beyond Izzy, Tavarez, and King is reliable in the 'pen. Reyes has seemed quite effective this year. Flores has been decent, but not great. And get Thompson some more action.

If anything, I wouldn't mind seeing the Cards play mediocre ball in the next few weeks, as long as they pick it up near the tail end of the year and peak for the playoffs. Oh, and we need to get this offense going.

Neither. Rolen decided not to cash in the season in May, and hoped to rehab it. Usually it can be done, but not always....and this was one of the not always times.
