  • Roddick vs. Federer on CBS Now - Finals Cincy Open

Roddick has been playing much better in this Tennis Masters Series event.

He even served and volleyed a bit yesterday in defeating Lleyton Hewitt -- another nemesis of his.

Could today be the day he beats Federer?
When you say to your neighbor, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night if that's alright with you," what you really mean is, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night."

The volleying has looked really bad against Federer in game five.

Now he double faults in game five, down a break 3-2.

      First set might be over.

        5-3, first set.

This is starting to look the same as it always does.

              He does it!

              Wow.

Down a set, but up a break 3-2 in the second set.

3-3, on serve in the second.

Roddick has some sort of foot injury.

                    Long delay.

He's gonna give it a shot, but I doubt he'll last much longer considering the US Open starts quite soon.

Don't want to screw up any chances in that.

                      And that's it.

Roddick loses serve, loses the set and the match 7-5 in straight sets.

I wonder how much the foot hurt him?

22 straight finals wins for Federer.

Roddick beating Federer would be even more surprising than the Miracle on Ice was.

                          It'll happen someday.

Roddick working on the serve and volley will certainly help him as he improves upon it.

I'm just waiting for the next great American tennis player to emerge. Roddick clearly isn't it.

Agassi's kid looks pretty good in that commercial.
