  • Rich from MH

After threatening many members of the staff, Rich was banned about a month or so ago. We didn't hear from him for a while, then he started calling again, knowing he couldn't go on the air. He would tell the producer of the respective show, the producer would say fine, and hang up. Now Rich has started using little voices and aliases to get on the air. Each time, Kevin and Claibs have slapped him back to earth. The question is, how pathetic is your life when this is the life you've chosen for yourself? He's the self-appointed scourge of STL talk radio and he's proud of that. He truly believes he has fans and makes the shows he calls into better. I have to admit, the day our PD banned him, it was pretty funny. He started screaming and insisting his Constitutional rights were being violated because it's his RIGHT to get put on the air and he left a ton of messages with the GM as well. It's one thing to call in to the station...I don't even really mind the guys who call everyday, every show, but to have the kind of mindset that Rich has where he thinks he's an honest-to-God celebrity because he has no life and calls all the talk shows in town...that's some serious issues...

I truly hate to say it, but now that he's forced to use aliases and make a pathetic attempt to disguise his voice, he's actually fairly entertaining...His "Billy Bob" persona on Rapid Response today was almost funny...I kind of felt bad telling Kevin who the caller was...

Somebody calling himself rich from maryland heights has psted a lot of stuff on McKernan's hot topics site. I don't think it is the same guy---maybe the same type, or maybe a parody.

Who would you like to slap Kevin Slaten or Rich from Maryland Heights and he gave himself away by saying - he would love to see Rich from Maryland Heights slap Slaten.

You know, this is an incredibly extreme measure...but this guy sounds like a pretty extreme dude...

And he seems like he may go to extreme lengths to get attention...

So I wouldn't necessarily rule out getting a restraining order against this guy...

If he has gone as far as to try to disguise who he is to call in to shows...because he's been banned from calling in as himself...then he has some real issues...

I'm not sure I'd take that lightly...

He's a fucking loser and I've hated his smarmy voice since the first time I heard it.
