    Yesterday, every NL West team played outside the division. Their collective record? 1-4. Total runs scored in the five games? 5. Shutouts sustained? 3. I think we may be selling this division a bit short.

          Yep. Grand slam in the 9th. The finals was 11-5. The Mariners pitcher was struggling, but how much damage could he do?

            Let me update those stats to make them current with today's results. 1-5. 7 runs scored in six games. Three shutouts. All against out of division opponents.
