  • The Lounge College Football Contest

Last year, we had a season long college football contest with five or six regular participants. Each contestant had to pick 10 winners (against a posted line), and the person picking the most winners at season's end was declared the champion. Brummerball won last year, and took home the most coveted trophy in sports, The Turd Ferguson. However, Brummer hasn't been heard from since I don't think. Anybody interested in participating this year?

I can't tell exactly how that contest operates (e.g., are picks against the line?). I liked the idea of allowing people the freedom to pick any ten games that they wanted from the published line, and that picks had to be made against the line as opposed to just being straight up. But that's just me.

You're being fucking dramatic. You own a TV and an air mattress. That's not exactly what I'd call "a lot to lose."

I don't consider myself much of an expert on college football.

But for a chance at "The Turd Ferguson" I'd participate. And if I won, I sure would keep that Turd polished.
          LONG LIVE THE NOTE!

Keeping something that valuable polished really goes without saying doesn't it? I think Brummer was most pleased when he got to hoist The Turd above his head and take a lap around the neighborhood with it.
