    Not to give Madyaks fuel.

But this guy has come up and simply dominated...

    30 games
    .375
    10 HRs
    25 runs
    28 RBI

If he can finish the season on a similar note the Braves are alot tougher team with an extra bat like that in the middle of the lineup.

He was the #14 prospect in baseball coming into the season according to BA.
You're being fucking dramatic. You own a TV and an air mattress. That's not exactly what I'd call "a lot to lose."

    110 big-league ABs, ZERO walks.

Either he's a freak of nature, or he comes back to earth.

He needs to start walking, because he's not going to do that forever.

Saw last night on Baseball Tonight that he tied Pujols for most HRs in the first 30 games among active players.

Oh and to go along w/ his 10 HRs, he also has 10 2b, and a 3b, so 21 extra base hits in 40 games/110 ABs.

Yup. Dude needs to learn the strike zone if he's going to stick around.

Guy looks like a ballplayer, too. Tall, muscular but lean. I bet Billy Beane used to look like him.

He hasn't walked a whole lot at any level of the minors, but he doesn't have enormously high K rates either. It could be he's like Vladdy, with the ability to put the bat on any ball, no matter where it is. Besides, you know what they say, you can't walk your way out of Atlanta high schools.

By the way, the guys right behind Francoeur and Pujols on the list for most HRs in the first 30 games were Dunn, Cruz Jr. and Branyan. So let's not make him a superstar quite yet.

Good call. Those guys all strike out too much.

i want to get in your fantasy league.
If you get in two of the three fantasy leagues I entered via this forum, you'll see Jeff Francoeur on my team. I just have my doubts about the long-term future of a guy who never walks.
