  • Help with an 80's song name?

The only lyric I can remember in this song is:
    Roam the hills in Africa!!

And it has some funky 80's style tune to it.

Any help with the song name or the artist?

I think it's probably "Africa" by Toto...

I hear the drums echoing tonight
But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation
        She's coming in twelve-thirty flight
Her moonlit wings reflect the stars that guide me towards
        salvation
I stopped an old man along the way
Hoping to find some old forgotten words or ancient melodies
He turned to me as if to say: "Hurry boy, it's waiting there for
        you"

        [Chorus:]
It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in Africa
Gonna take some time to do the things we never had

The wild dogs cry out in the night
As they grow restless longing for some solitary company
I know that I must do what's right
Sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti
I seek to cure what's deep inside, frightened of this thing that
        I've become

        [Repeat chorus]

        [Instrumental break]

Hurry boy, she's waiting there for you

        [Repeat chorus]
" Look, forget the myths the media's created about the White House--the truth is, these are not very bright guys, and things got out of hand."

Toto off Toto 4, "Africa" is the song title. A slickster "band" in name only as they were a studio creation.

            Thank you all!
This song isn't that great, but it's been really bugging me that I don't know the name. I still have to admit that it's going on a mix of mine.

Not to mention I was totally off on the only lyric that I knew.

I believe it's Men at Work.

                Or Toto.

It should have been the Alan Parsons Project.
