  • Resturant help

My sister is in town today for business with her boss. They're staying at Westport and want to meet for dinner somewhere around there. I rarely go there so I'm even more clueless than usual. They're looking for a decent but reasonably priced chain or comparable local restuarant like Outback or Longhorn. Neither is close. Is there something like them around there (within 10 min)? TIA. JJ.

You mean 'Robata's' as in 'Robata of Japan'

Solid food, if you like hibachi. Not cheap, but not ridiculous.

Dear God, KBF here. I'd just like to say thanks, once again, for allowing Dusty Baker and I to live during the same time period. Every time I think he's given me his last gift -- overpitching Prior in the playoffs, getting cocky in Game 6 vs. the Angels, blowing another game for the Cubs -- he does something stupid like pitching to Albert Pujols. Thy will be done, baby!!!!!

There is a Lone Star Steakhouse on Olive at Craig (just past the Dierberg's). If they are into Thai, Thai Kitchen at Dorsett and McKelvey is good stuff. Sybergs (at Dorsett & 270) had decent seafood and some damned fine wings.

Bristol on Olive is wonderful for seafood.

Voodoo lounge at Harrahs, the food sucks though

I really like their Range Steakhouse. They have a pepperloin that's pretty tasty.
