  • what notable musical acts appeared at Busch?

Obviously, the Beatles. I remember Jack Buck making some wry complaints about "what are they doing in my stadium?" in the seventies--------I know it wasn't a great musical venue---seems like I might have seen Fleetwood Mac there.

I wonder if Chuck Berry ever played there.

I witnessed a damn good U2 concert on a wet Sunday Night back in the early 90's.

It was during their Zoo TV Tour.

I saw The Who there around 1990(?). I wanna say it was a 25th anniversary tour, but who knows? Maybe none of it even happened.

I was there. I have a hard time finding people that didn't go to that concert.

I believe that the question was "notable" musical acts.

                  Well, they are notably bad...

I can't imagine a concert at Busch. It just seems...weird.

The Super Jams were pretty good. Or was it because I was pretty drunk?

I worked the floor for the U2 Zoo TV concert. That was probably fall of 1992.

I also worked Elton John / Billy Joel and New Kids on the Block. For NKOTB they converted most of the mens restrooms to women's.

There was some country/western jamboree too.
