Me and a friend have a small video business that we do on the side. We want to create a business website as cheaply as possible that will give us the ability to show video examples that we've produced. I've taken a few classes in HTML and web page design, but I'm still pretty skittish about what I need to do here. Any advice would be appreciated.

Will you want to do streaming video, or just downloads? Anything fancy? Grote knows a lot about the business side of setting up websites, he's probably your best resource. I am a web developer, so anything on the development side that grote can't answer, which probably isn't anything, I can help you with.

What is your primary goal? To stream the videos or to make money?
Will you be offering the videos for download?
What format are they in?
How large are the videos?
Will they be popular or are they market specific?
What format are the videos in now?
Will the videos require updates or are they static?

No downloaded videos. Just want to give internet customers the ability to watch them on our website.
We use Final Cut Pro to produce the videos. The format is quicktime/NTSC.
We would like to have 3 different videos that are about 2 to 5 minutes long.
The videos will not need to be updated.

Sounds very easy.
There are two things to consider:
1) You'll need to find a hosting plan that offers a nice amount of bandwidth. How large are the videos in megabyte size?
2) If you're not comfortable doing the site or want to spend your time doing something else, I suggest http://www.programmingbids.com. You can put the project out for bid. I have used this service in the past and love it.
Let me know the size and I can toss you a couple of reputable hosting companies.

Yep. Just tell me how big the files are now.
You can look at your folder and it'll tell you how large the files are.
